WHO ARE WE?
Binks Yard is the first venue to open in the Island Quarter in Nottingham. It is an all-day food, drinks and entertainment venue which features a large craft beer selection, cocktails, a wine bar with an outside kiosk and a bespoke grill restaurant with wood-fired pizzas, sharing platters, delicious salads, home-made breads. We have bar and restaurant seating inside and over 40 seats outside for canal side dining.
It All Started With...
Wright’s Directory of Nottingham (1895 edition) listed Henry Binks, as brewer and shopkeeper, situated at 4 Treton Square. He did a roaring trade with the bustling workers who made the island the commercial centre of Nottingham for centuries.
More than one hundred and twenty years later, Binks is back. He may well be bemused by the worldliness of our menu, but we like to think he’d be right at home with our range of locally brewed beers and ales.
What's to come...
Our Live at Binks events programme will be a first of its kind for Nottingham. It will include indoor events in the Binks Yard Bar and Restaurant such as weekly tequila & taco nights and vinyl DJ nights as well as resident DJ’s and live solo and duo performances at weekends. Outside on the bandstand and plaza we will be bringing you local live bands, dance acts, classical as well as popular entertainment and will also be hosting sport, wellness and topical collaborations.
