Roger Bird is a veteran of the Nottingham music scene, and founder member of Mood Indigo (described by Ronnie Scott’s Barry Sherwin as one of the coolest bands he had ever seen), with his style heavily influenced by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the classic crooners of the 20th Century.

An invitation to play at the legendary James Bond 40th Birthday Party at Cannes Film Festival began a professional career, and Roger has been honing his remarkable talent for Jazz and Swing standards for over 20 years since!

Engagements as resident artist at prestigious venues and performances at major corporate events in the UK and beyond have sealed his reputation. A resident performer at Nottingham’s award winning Winter Wonderland, we are DELIGHTED to welcome him back to Binks Yard!
