This bank holiday Sunday, we have some of Nottingham’s greatest DJs playing the best in Soul and funk on the Binks Yard terrace!

 

From Hip Hop samples to breaks and great soul music from all eras! New releases to classic well known tracks such as the the likes of Sly and the Family Stone, the O jays and James Brown.

 

DJ LINE-UP:

Resident danny James

Being a huge lover of the 90s hip hop scene, he will be playing some of his fave Funk and soul tracks where samples were later used for the likes of Dre, Eminem & De La Soul as well as some of the more well know tracks with the likes of Marvin Gaye, Temptations etc!

 

Dave Shozza 

He’s been digging though the crates looking for the rare finds and unusual tracks as well as some of the big soul classics.

 

Karl Cold Chillin

Kemet fm Hip Hop DJ. Dropping the breaks and sounds of the 70’s with an epic selection of rare and well known tracks.

 

DJ Expression 

This well known Nottingham DJ has selection that will fill everyones flavours.

Cutting up some classics with some of the more obscure tracks we may not have heard of as well as some cool remixes of sample tunes.

 

Darren Hague

Mr soul Man himself. Catch him spinning some of the latest in soul tunes as well as some funky chilled beats.
